Q1: Why is Arkbound shutting down?
A1: After careful consideration, we have decided to sunset Arkbound due to challenges in maintaining the game. While this decision was difficult, we deeply appreciate the journey we’ve shared with our players.
Q2: When is the official shutdown date?
A2: Arkbound’s servers will officially shut down at 23:59 JST on May 31st. After this time, the game will no longer be accessible.
Q3: Will the game be available for download after the shutdown?
A3: No. Starting from 23:59 JST on May 31st, the download option will no longer be available, and the game will also be delisted from the Epic Games Store.
Q4: What happens to my NFTs after the shutdown?
A4: Your NFTs remain in your wallet and are still owned by you. However, you must withdraw them from the game before May 15th to retain access.
Q5: How do I withdraw my NFTs?
A5: Please follow these steps:
1️⃣ Go to the in-game inventory.
2️⃣ Select the NFTs you want to withdraw.
3️⃣ Transfer them to your external wallet (e.g., MetaMask).
Q5: What is Immutable zkEVM, and why are we migrating?
A5: Immutable zkEVM is a next-generation blockchain platform designed for scalable, gas-efficient transactions. Migrating to Immutable zkEVM ensures better performance and long-term sustainability for NFT holders.
Q6: When will the migration to Immutable zkEVM take place?
A6: The migration will occur on April 30.
Q7: Will I still be able to mint NFTs?
A7: No, NFT minting will be discontinued starting from [Time] on [Date]. After this point, no new NFTs can be created in the game.
Q8: Will I still be able to make in-game purchases?
A8: No, starting from 00:00 on May 10th, all in-game purchases will be disabled.
Q9: Can I get a refund for my in-game purchases?
A9: We appreciate your support and understand that this transition may be disappointing. Unfortunately, as per our policy, we are unable to offer refunds for in-game purchases.
We encourage players to use any remaining in-game content before the shutdown date and ensure that all NFTs are withdrawn before [Date] to retain ownership.
Q10: What will happen to Discord and social media channels?
A10: The Discord server will remain open until June 15th, but after that, customer support will no longer be available. Please reach out with any questions before then.
Additionally, our official website will no longer be accessible after May 31st, 2025.
